He showed up on her doorway on Christmas Day. Well, night, really, since she and her father had eaten their dinner, and he was already asleep on the couch. She was tempted to slam the door in Rumpelstiltskin’s face, but that had never been her role.
In their little tragedy, Belle knew, she was the one on the receiving end of a door slammed. Her own would always be open for him, and she hated that that would never change

Instead of locking Belle in the asylum, Regina implanted memories of her as Gold’s ex-wife. Mr and the ex-Mrs Gold had disliked each other immensely (for reasons you can decide), but Rumpelstiltskin remembers everything now and can’t help but try to win her back.

It’s not a love song, not really, not in the way a normal person would hear it. And yet somehow, Irish brogue becomes Scottish burr to her ears, and she smells whiskey and crushed rose petals when it plays.

Ok, time to get to work. Gotta get in on this fic-a-thon. 2 Penance updates, a the Maid update, and maybe RumbelleWeedsAU. This should be fun!

Rumbelle Shippers- May I have your attention please?
I sent a message to a couple of the more well-known Rumbellers, but I thought I would go ahead and make a post. Plus… Tumblr eats my messages like a freakish amount of the time, so I don’t know if they even went through.
What is, for the six month anniversary, we create a tag to post prompts, fics, graphics, and responses on for the entire week? We can call it “six months of rumbelle” or something. I’m not very original with names. Then we can go back and note that “XXX prompt has been filled by XXXX” and such, and just scroll through all the anniversary stuff.
