Um… never? I don’t know anyone who has ever been ostracized for liking the Charmings… if you hate all of them then it must be pretty difficult to watch the show, to be honest, considering how they’re three of the leads.I think the backlash, especially against Snowing but also the Charmings in general, is a response to some of the Belle, Bae, Rumpel, and to some extent Regina hate that has been going around, especially in the wake of Emilie de Ravin’s promotion. But as far as I’m aware, that’s a reaction to the actions of fans, not the characters themselves.

Are these various ‘confessions’ blogs actually out to stir the fandom-shit, or is that just an unfortunate side-effect caused by the usual spiteful minority? I honestly haven’t been able to tell. Oy vey.  Not my fave aspect of Tumblr, thus far.

In some fandoms, they’re a funny little voice of unpopular - or sometimes entirely accepted and normal - opinions on the show/book/movie. The ones for OUAT were like that back before the finale, as far as I remember. Now it seems that, with the haitus, everyone’s gone stir-crazy and started using them as a method to attack sections of the fandom anonymously.I don’t think it’s the blog’s fault, particularly, but it is an easy tool to abuse for those who are so inclined.
