Fic: Sunday Evening
Title: Sunday Evening (Time of Day)
Rating: Oh, so NC-17
Summary: Belle mentions an old Halloween outfit to Gold, and he requests a live demonstration.
For Marchie, who wanted Belle dressed as a french maid, and Gold speaking French, and basically any other sexy pun you can make from Belle French’s last name. So here it is.
Set between ‘Saturday Morning’ and ‘Monday Morning’, for anyone who wants canon. They’ve only been hooking up a few weeks at this point.
—-
“You know,” Belle says, with a look in her eyes that’d be worrying if she weren’t naked and smiling at him, “Your house is massive.
Okay, perhaps not the exact words Gold had expected, considering how the last time she looked at him like that he’d ended up bound by his own neckties to the bedposts in the spare room, but he doesn’t comment.
Fic: Old Names And New Titles
Title: Old Names And New Titles
Rating: PG-13 max, probably less
Summary: Belle jumps at the chance to babysit Henry for the night: Gold finds out why.
For Ched, who asked for fluff, and for Rum reading to Belle. The excerpts are from ‘Howl’s Moving Castle’ by Diana Wynne Jones. And fair warning: this will give you cavities.

Rumpelstiltskin cannot understand how they ended up watching over the Saviour’s child for the evening.
Really, little Henry has more family in Storybrooke than one could shake a magic wand at, what with his grandparents, his mother, and all of their extended relations. Rumpelstiltskin might be one of the few men in town who is not, in some way, related to the others: even Red Riding Hood has been adopted by Snow White as a royal sister.
But somehow, everyone is too busy to look after the young man tonight. Emma is visiting with Jefferson the Hatter - she says it’s a call to check on the family, ensure that Grace is alright with her less-than-stable father, but the Saviour took a bottle of wine with her - and Snow White and Prince James are… otherwise occupied.

Title: Sunday Morning (2/2) (Time of Day)
Rating: oh so NC-17
Summary: Belle and Mr Gold spend their first full night together at his place, and things have to change.
A/N: Yes, it’s long, but it needed to be to get everything in. This is a big one, dearies: this is where things change.
Part 1 - Part 2

Gold awoke a hour later, and saw the night still dark outside through the open curtains. He rolled away from Belle - they shouldn’t have been cuddling, this was all wrong, and gods above he’d known this was a bad idea - and pulled his robe from the hook by his bed, wrapping it around himself for modesty. He crossed to the window and closed the drapes, locking out the streetlight that had illuminated the room.
He could hear her stirring - she was a light sleeper, apparently, this Belle; his Belle had slept like the dead, and had once fallen out of her bed and simply slept through it, snuggled in her duvet on the floor - and her eyes blinked open.
Fic: Shoot The Messenger
Title: Shoot The Messenger
Rating: PG-13 for swearing and mentions of drug use
Summary: Belle gets a call from her dealer ex-boyfriend, and winds up bargaining with a drug lord known only as Mr Gold for forgiven debts. He needs collateral, and she needs a job.
AN: Written as a reward for my Spice Girls!AU challenge for someontellted, (who wrote a hilarious AU). Yes, it’s twice as long as expected. No, you shouldn’t be surprised.

Belle has never met the man they call Mr Gold, but she’s sure as hell heard the rumours.
Queen did business with him: Gold was her supplier, and she passed the goods along to the customers. The man on top doesn’t deal with the trash at the bottom: rumour has it he’s got a son in high school and a life in the suburbs, a nice little set-up, all legit and businesslike.
Belle’s never met the man, but the idea of doing so terrifies her.
Fic: Sunday Morning (1/2)
Title: Sunday, The Early Hours (Time of Day)
Rating: oh so NC-17
Summary: Belle and Mr Gold spend their first full night together at his place, and things have to change.
The second half will be up soon, but this ended up so long it got cut in half. Still pretty damn long, though. Follows on directly from Saturday Midnight.

Gold had to wonder if he was making a phenomenally stupid mistake here.
This week was doomed to be full of them, it seemed. First visiting her on Monday and allowing the cold mask to slip just a little - if she saw truly what was beneath, how much he belonged to her and needed her, then the world would come crashing down around their ears - and then Wednesday. Wednesday had been a disaster.
He’d looked everywhere for her, and she had simply vanished. He’d thought for a few, agonising hours that he’d provoked the Curse one step too far, and that she’d been taken away entirely for his carelessness. Perhaps Regina had seen them, and been spurred into action, his Belle spirited away like so many others had been before her by the Queen. He’d run himself frantic, searching for her when she was in none of their meeting places.
Fic: All In A Row (2/2)

Summary: Belle listens to the same song ten times in a row (or how Belle and Mr Gold spent their two Christmases in Storybrooke)
A/N: Both a further contribution to the Rumbelle War, and a gift to you all for the Skin Deep Six Month Anniversary.
Marchie prompted: she listens to the same song ten times in a row.

You took my dreams from me
When I first found you
He showed up on her doorway on Christmas Day. Well, night, really, since she and her father had eaten their dinner, and he was already asleep on the couch. She was tempted to slam the door in Rumpelstiltskin’s face, but that had never been her role.
In their little tragedy, Belle knew, she was the one on the receiving end of a door slammed. Her own would always be open for him, and she hated that that would never change

Chapter 1 - Chapter 2
——
She listens to the same song ten times in a row.
It’s not a love song, not really, not in the way a normal person would hear it. And yet somehow, Irish brogue becomes Scottish burr to her ears, and she smells whiskey and crushed rose petals when it plays.
Fic Teaser: Sunday, The Early Hours
Since this beastie is coming out far longer than expected (it’ll be over 6,000 words at this rate) I thought I’d give you all a preview in case it takes much longer.
Time of Day series; sequel to ‘Saturday Midnight’
Fic: Rumour Has It - Chapter 6
AU: Because of one little lie, everyone at Storybrooke University now thinks that Belle Charmin is sleeping around, and Professor Gold, the only guy who seems to believe her innocence, is totally off limits. Easy A!AU.

Rumour Has It
Chapter 6

Oh my god, remember how I said pretending to fuck Jefferson was the worst decision I ever made? I take it back. I let Phil pay me for fake sex, and he has a massive mouth. Jefferson told four people: Phil told everyone else.
And I do mean everyone.
And as I said before, I have major reasons to hate instant mass-communication. It felt like just hours between him starting the stories about our little rendezvous - he did start with flattering haste, and I had to admit it was nice that getting with me was almost a badge of honour - and the whispering turning to full-on gossip.

He didn’t bank everything on it breaking that particular way: it would have broken had Emma died, as well. Barring that, it had to be True Love, and it had to be Emma. For all we know, given a bit more time Emma and Graham would have become True Love and that might have broken it. Even if she had aborted the child or decided to keep it, she would still have come back to Storybrooke: something would have lead her back there on her 28th birthday. That was part of the spell.
And anyway, her parents live there, and I think if given another season or so it’s likely that Emma and MM would have formed a close enough mother/daughter bond to break the Curse as well. Had Emma been the one to end up dying in a hospital bed, or MM for that matter, the other could have kissed their forehead as Emma did to Henry with the same effect. Emma just had to be in Storybrooke, and Gold worked with the circumstances as he had them from there. And there was always the death clause, if all else failed.
But I think there was also more to Henry’s adoption than we think right now. Gold had something to do with Regina getting him, we know that, and of all the kids in the USA (Henry was born in Phoenix, and Arizona’s a long way from Maine) Gold just happened to pick the Saviour’s kid? There’s something else there.
I think Gold did all he could to set it up that it would happen that way. But if it hadn’t - if something had gone wrong somewhere - he had more than enough fail-safes to compensate.

Psst. People who want to write Gazelle, how about this for a thought: instead of Storybrooke, Maine, the curse sends all of the residents to Sheffield, England. Instead of being given power and everything Regina promised, Rumpel is once more a desperate father with no money, no station, nothing of value, who is about to lose his son?
Won’t be writing it myself, because really, I’m trying to keep back from crossovers. Last time I started crossovering, I ended up in Potter fandom and that… was terrifying.
OMG THIS IS AMAZING.
SOMEONE WRITE THIS, I WILL GIVE YOU MY FIRST BORN AND A BAG OF MALTESERS.
YES THIS MAKES MY GAZELLE FIC MAKE SENSE WRITING THIS YES YES YES REDUCED TO CAPS LOCK AND NO PUNCTUATION BECAUSE I AM EXCITE.
Anonymous asked: On a scale from one to Skin Deep, how hard do you you think Rumple is going to make his relationship with Belle implode this time? Or do you think it'll go leaps and bounds better this time around(it really can't go much worse)?
I think their relationship is interesting this time because we’ve had the courtship, the bit in rom-coms where the pair are falling in love and realising their feelings, and it ends with the kissing. We’ve had that, and really, that’s the easy bit. What’s interesting is that now they have the “What’s next?” moment, where these two people - who are used to a very different power dynamic and a very different world - now have to learn to co-exist. So I don’t think Skin Deep even could happen again, for them, not with his admission in the finale.
That’s not to say I think it’ll be a happy sunshine trip filled with roses and breakfast in bed and strolls in the park. But I think Belle has as much a chance of ‘imploding’ this as Rum has. Because she doesn’t know him in this world, either, and as we know well Mr Gold is a third version of Rumpelstitlskin. He’s not a cowering peasant or a powerful, trolling little imp-man with no idea how to handle people up close. He’s been changed by the curse as much as anyone, we know this. And she doesn’t know this man, so we can’t know how she’ll react to him.
I think we’ll die a thousand bloody deaths, and hurt and cry and scream with delight from one moment to the next, but I don’t think we can compare where they are now to the events of Skin Deep. Because despite his changes since then, and his capacity for burning castles and taking everyone with him, they understand where they are emotionally here. She knows how happy he was to have her back, and he’s admitted his feelings openly and honestly without a moment’s thought. He can’t cast her out, and he (should, at least) be on his best behavior around her, considering all he’s regretted and missed since she left.
So I think their relationship, in answer to your question, is unpredictable right now. They aren’t Beauty and the Beast, they’re a morally-ambiguous human man with a very heartfelt agenda (finding Bae) and a woman who has been through hell and back because of him and loves him anyway. They’re so much more equal now, and yet she’s alone in this world except for him, with little knowledge of anyone or anything, where he still holds all the cards. I don’t think she’ll stand for being so uninformed and powerless for long.
So, yeah. I think she’s more likely to find out what he did to Moe, or his role in the Curse, or even be swayed by the more straightforwardly good agenda of the Charmings and their allies, than he is to fuck things up all on his own.
Or, and while I’d hate this I’d also kind of love it, they could just discover that they don’t work together yet. That she needs time to grow into this world and this new skin just as he does to achieve his own goals. Maybe they’ll find that true love just isn’t always enough, and that they want too many different things to fit together the way they should have. Maybe they’ll part and plan to reunite someday in the future, when things are clearer and the battles are won.

Rumour Has It
Chapter 5

When Belle finally pulled herself together and sorted her make up, she was actually looking forward to her English class. She wasn’t sure when seeing Gold had become the highlight of her day, but after everything at the party, she had a feeling she’d want to see him even without the heart-pounding that went with it. It would be good to see someone, even only from afar, who knew the truth.
It was getting just a little waring that people were staring at her as she walked across the quad.
She had her head down as she entered the classroom, and so it wasn’t until she glanced up from her seat that she saw it was one of Gold’s TAs, not the man himself, readying to teach the class.
OUAT Fanfiction: Cat problems
This is to be blame on rufeepeach and the rest of the RMC that joined in on Cheshire cat as the Golds’ pet cat.
I just love how this little headcanon has been adopted… AND THIS IS AWESOME FIC :)
