amuseoffyre: Once Upon a Time moments I love #5 - You were trapped, but now you’re free Abigail and Frederick are easily my second-favourite pairing in the show. Not bad for a female character who initially showed up as a whiny spoiler Princess and a man who has had maybe four lines altogether. What I love about this pairing is that it’s already there, defined, and has been for some time, and only because they have been torn apart by her father’s curse, is she pushed into a union with James. Looking back at her first episodes, suddenly her ennuie and frustration with him apparent. He’s not her Frederick. He’ll never match her Frederick. “He’ll do”, because the one she really wants is trapped. I love that she’s the first person to accept and acknowledge his love for Snow, and knows he will understand her enough to help her. I love it when James asks (as farm boys do) why she hasn’t tried kissing and she has the single most beautiful response: “I did, until my lips bled”. I love that even though she can’t save him, the way she looks at the golden Frederick is still with complete love. This is a woman who has suffered for her true love, and when no one would help her, abducted her runaway fiance and with his help, got her true love back. I love that Abigail/Frederick are an example of how true love was there, then lost, then retrieved again. More than anything, I want to see Abigail and Frederick find one another again. Really, if I didn’t ship Rumbelle so hard those two would have been my pairing of choice. …damn, now I feel bad about hitting him with a car. I agree, though: Abigail/Kathryn is such a BAMF, and Frederick is everything she wants in the universe and I have all of these feelings for these two.

Kathryn could barely feel a thing.
 
There was a dull throbbing in her head, loud and flooding every sense, until her entire body was a heavy heartbeat and she could barely think, barely breathe.
 
She was slumped over the steering wheel of her car, and absurdly all she could see was the old schoolhouse, the playgrounds and corridors, Mary Margaret Blanchard’s moronically innocent face as her palm connected… and a face, glimpsed out of the corner of Kathryn’s eyes, a sweet and open face, a stranger seen in passing.

I’m writing a Gold/Kathryn bromance fic. Because Rose-Papilion asked so nicely, and gave me a #fuckingbluefairy gif. My favourite line?

If Regina removed her heart (as I expect she did, then somehow planted MM’s fingerprints to frame her), then she may still be alive. After all, she did the same to Graham and he was fine until she actually destroyed it. Kathryn’s probably down in that psych ward with Belle or something.

I don’t think they would have shown Katherine and her fairytale love make eye contact (the episode she found out about David and Mary Margaret, the guy she passed in the hall was her love I believe) if Katherine were really dead, why would the writers put in that unnecessary…
